Just joined, new owner of a 1971 (according to title) !6 Cohasset II, with a 2002 Honda 40hp.

Lots of fiddly bits needs to be done and so far this website has been a goldmine of info. For some reason the previous owner stripped out the original seat and replaced it with a park bench. I still have the original flipping back but the base is gone. Hopefully I can find some pics to copy one. .

What is your Stencil number? That will tell us the year.

Most likely sold in 1971 and that is why you see it on the title, but it should be a 1972 year model.
