After an all winter restoration of hull and interior working with Nautical Lumber
and doing electrical and mechanical myself I have an awesome looking Whaler.
Took it to northern Michigan for a week and had a blast. The Merc 40 hp 4 Stroke
made it fly.( almost scary fast when trimmed).
I have posted pics on my personal page.

Good looking boat, it looks like your motor is mounted all the way down, which may be perfect,
Or you could be loosing precious rpm/speed.
Besides that, nice boat. Really nice.

I don't have a Tach. so I don't know the RPM at WOT.
Engine sounds right no problems getting on plane. Also, with the power trim
it goes fast enough for me.

Wow! First rate job, and a nice clean setup. You should do a build log.

Thanks. I am compiling everything from start to finish. Then I 'll put together a build photo album
and build process.
