I am gearing my boat now and I just came across a strange issue.
I cannot trim Up from the command box, I can trim down but that's it.

I can however raise and lower the engine from the engine case command.
I haven't started the engine yet, lotta things left to do before (maybe on Friday).

It's a Ficht Ram 115 hp from 2003. The command box is brand new. I will try with on older one, and maybe jump the whole harness if I can find another one for testing.

Any of you had the same issue before?

Reads like a wiring issue..

The wiring harness connectors of the new throttle is probably different than the wire harness from the engine.

You may want to consult with a Evinrude dealer.

You may need a different engine harness or adapter.

Update... I changed for the old control box (side mounting) and voilĂ ... up and down, down and up, up up up up and down... Great, it's not the harness nor the engine or pump! So I plugged the new console gain and! it now works.
I did a rare thing today, I uncorked an electric wire :-)
