Hey,
friday i will be purchasing a 2001 merc 2 stroke 60hp for my 1966 custom 16. its not a big foot. 20 inch shaft.
there are pics of the boat itself in my profile.
roughly what prop an motor hole shoudl this be in?
i am going for green holes which i believe allow me top 2 hole or so,
sorry if i left something out.

By drilling the Green holes, you will be mounted 2 holes up, like this.

You will not be able to go any lower but you would be able to raise the motor one more hole if needed.
Note: if the motor has 5 mounting holes, then you would be able to go up one or two holes.
We recommend the Green holes if the yellow holes cannot be drilled due to the inside of the transom and splashwell.
