Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Prop for 130 with 40hp merc 4 stroke?

Just purchased a 2003 130 sport with 40 merc 4 stroke. Plan to use it to tube the Grandkids. Existing aluminum prop's kinda beat up. Thinking about a new stainless. Any suggestions?

A14 pitch comes with the boat and turns 6000rpm at 37.4 mph gps
The boat would not plane with 4 people - I switched to a 13 pitch aluminum and it has a better hole shot.
I couldn't swing a 13 pitch SS Michigan
