My grandfather was a Whaler dealer in the 70's, 80's, and early 90's. I came across an old box of fishing photos filled with photos of classic Whalers in action, including the original Lo-Pro. I will post these to my photobucket for everyone's viewing pleasure when I can find time. I just felt I had to share. I was very excited to find these.

Would love to see anything on the Lo Pro. The only thing I have ever found is the little brochure Whaler had with one crummy back and white photo.
Thanks,
Carter

All right peoples! Finally got the photos uploaded. I hope ya'll enjoy them. Some good stuff here. It's only 10 of them, but better than nothing. Notice the Johnson Pegasus...my grandfather's tradition carried out on my Outrage 19!

Terrific! These (and the rest?) really need a catagory on the site map so folks can go right to them. Apologies, Joe, I'm not trying to increase your work load.

I see you're from Bay City (Go Black Cats!) There was a dealer located in Bay City, but can't remember the name. Used to drive by the shop on my way to fish Matagorda and break my neck trying to see what different models he had.

I guess that was your Grandfather's?

Yes, spuds. That was my grandfather's. It was Anderson Marine.

That's right! I couldn't remember the name. I always heard he was real good to deal with, just a little far from my house in Houston.
