I have replaced the water pump on the above unit, but I have 3 o-rings that came in kit I have no idea where they are supposed to go. Looking at parts schematic I do not see these o-rings. Also, while changing the water pump I can not find any orings or places they would go.
I was wondering if anyone knows where they are used or is this included for other models.
The motor is 90hp, 4 stroke, ELPT SW, sn 1B102580.
Thanks

It is very likely that the water pump kit is used on many models of Mercury outboards and that those o-rings are relevant to some other model(s) and not yours.

One might go on the upper end of the drive shaft near the spline so water doesn't get in and make it seem near impossible to get the lower unit off. A little grease there will help also.
