Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Console Mounted light

I recently purchased a 1986 Outrage 18 which is missing the console mounted stern light. Is this a special item or can I install a universal one from West Marine? As for the all-around white light, does it "blind" your vision while running at night? Most boats have this mounted on the stern. Why is the outrage different?

Yes, that is mine. It is actually called the Masthead Light.

There is also the Stern Light mounted on the starboard side of the stern. Do you have this stern light? The Outrages and many Revenges had the same light setup which is known as the 'International' lighting system.
