Hi Everyone,
I have a 1993 Yamaha 150 on my Lo-Pro and my tachometer quit working. I still have a zero displayed but it doesn't come up. I swapped the digital gauge with a known unit and I get the same thing. Looked around under the console and don't find any loose connection or anything tripped. My question is, is there a sensor on the flywheel or somewhere that sends a signal up to the gauge? Is there something I am overlooking? My engine is a 1993 150TLRR.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Carter

Follow the green wire. That is the tachometer signal wire.

What brand and series of tach do you have?
Yamaha, or other?

Here are some Yamaha tachs.

Does anybody know if there is a place on line where I could get a schematic without having to buy it?
I looked around and couldn't find anything.

The gauge I have is a factory Yamaha digital gauge. I am not sure how to identify it but I have seen a million of them on 1990's Yamaha's.
