Hi,

My husband just bought a 1979 Montauk. This was the same kind of boat he had growing up, and he always wanted one of his own, so when the opportunity came around to buy one, he jumped at the chance. The boat has been great so far--even though I have titled myself "whalerwidow" on this site, I think I love the boat as much as he does. It needs a little TLC, and a bow rail--which we just ordered, but we are thoroughly enjoying our new Whaler and being a part of the Whaler family. While he is looking for rails and steering cables such I have found myself sitting at night trying to find Whaler accessories--asthetics--to make our Whaler look spiffy. I have found restoration decals and such on Ebay, but I have also seen a little floating whale keychain a couple of times--which seem to be hard to get. I have gone to the Boston Whaler website, but the accessory page doesn't have them. Does anyone know of another marine shop/website that has them--and other Whaler stuff like this. I know my husband would get a kick out of me getting some fun gear for him. Anyway...can't wait to pass along this site to him too.

J.W. :)
