Someone is giving me this boat with a trailer that's unusable. I know nothing about trailers & different trailer dealers are telling me different stories. Rollers vs Bunk? The previous owner said he doesn't know the model but that it resembles the Montauk. Is there anyway to find out the model? I am excited & afraid & really would love to successfully restore this old Whaler. All suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Trailers. You want a Keel Roller trailer with bunks. Here is a link to the type of trailer that is suggested for Classic Boston Whalers.

You most likely have a Nauset model or possibly an Eastport or a Sakonnnet.
