I'm putting my 1999 70 hp Yamaha back together. What should I use to prep the stainless steel bolts before putting them back into this aluminum housing? I've seen copper coat anti seize. Is that what I should use?

Do NOT use copper based anti-sieze with stainless steel hardware in an aluminum outboard motor.
Use marine grease or a gasket compound like Permatex Aviation Form-a-Gasket.

I should add that there are graphite/aluminum based anti-sieze compounds out there that would be acceptable.
