Just repowered my Outrage 22 with new Mercury 3.0L Four Stroke 150HP engine. Removing twin 115 Mercury two-strokes.

The performance is outstanding. 40+ MPH top end and 5 mpg cruise at 26-28mph 3800 RPM, 2.1 km/l if I did the math correctly.

sabich,

The Outrage 22' was rated for a max of 240 hp.
The Outrage 22' with Whaler Drive was rated for 300hp.

The majority of members here, when choosing a new single motor repower, choose a 200hp to 225hp.

Here is a list of Current new motors along with their weight that many members choose.

Welcome Antonio! A single motor is cheaper to buy and will reduce your fuel usage too, and new motors are very reliable so that also reduces the need to run twins.
