I have a 2003 Suzuki 150 2 stroke outboard, and have been having problems when throttling up. It cranks & runs fine when not in gear, but when I try to get on plane, it will rev to about 2500-3000 rpms..try to push the throttle further & it begins to stall. After a few minutes, the engine will "catch up" with the throttle. I have replaced both the fuel/water separator filter & the inline fuel filter inside the cowling(which was quite dirty). I took it in the river after putting in the new parts, & it did the same thing, only difference was the motor was vibrating a lot more than normal in gear. I'm going to run some injector cleaner through it( its EFI). If this doesn't work, what should my next step be? I think my injectors may be clogged...I used regular ethanol gas with sta-bil for over a year in the boat & put 100% gas in it the last 3 times I've filled the tank so I suspect some of the ethanol has separated & gotten sucked into the injectors.

I would check (clean) the Vapor separator tank (VST). If that does not solve it, send the injectors to Flagship in Florida for professional cleaning. It is not a DIY.
It's about $35 per injector with shipping.
I had the exact same issue with my EFI f115.

I'd be off to my local service shop. What is the closet Suzuki service shop to you?
Being able to get good local service is always key. It makes it so much easier to keep the boat running.
I wish the local dealers were better businessmen and offer on-site service for a fee. The big engine guys do it and make a lot of money at it. I have to rent a truck to tow my my boat, take it from the dock to launch ramp is two man operation, then drop it at the dealer, then rent truck again and two man operation to put it back on the water.
