Hi,
I am wondering if someone can give me the dimensions for the engine cowling for a 90 VRO engine (V4). I want to try to get a rough idea of the square footage of the inside of the cowling. I'm talking to the rep. at the factory about the Silent Running paint and need to figure out how much it will take to cover it all.
Can anyone help me? I don't have my boat at hand, so I can't go measure myself.
Thanks!
Perry

My cover, 1985 EV 90 VRO is off and in my garage now. Tell me what measurements you want and I will get them for you.
Keep in mind it is a weird shape with each side plus the rear has what I would say is 3 panels and the front is much narrower than the rear. Kind of a diamond shape.

That would be great! I'm trying to figure out the square footage of the cover.
If you could give me the length of the sides, it only needs to be back to the first "corner" if you know what I mean.
The height of the cowl to the highest point,
and the width at the widest point, which I think will be right where the long sides end, that would be great. I think I can extrapolate from there, and be close enough.
Thanks,
Perry

Total depth is 12 Inches
Sides are 20 Inches
Max width at the widest part is 21 Inches.
Length front to rear is 25.5 inches
I wrapped a flexible tape all the way around it and it shows 73 inches

Dynamat is a product that is also used for sound control, it is like big sheets of foil backed thick rubber ( www.Dynamat.com) . Just another option.
