Do anyone know where the idle adjustment is on a 1988 Yamaha 90 HP. Mine is running just a little low (I think?) at 700 rpm but motor is running fantastic.. Thank you...........

Hello jodee95, if my memory serves correct the actual idle screw is located on the throttle linkage starboard side of power head. The screw might be located near the center carburetor.
Your idle sounds about right though, at most 750 rpm would be max setting. Idle rpm in gear (trolling speed) should be 600 rpm (+/-) 50.
For idle screw location/reference check the O/B parts diagram that's available in www.simyamaha.com

I don't know for sure about your yamaha, but most outboards idle with the butterflies all the way closed and idle speed is adjusted with idle timing.
