I recently purchased a 89' Outrage Cuddy and was hoping to spend some overnights fishing. My question is: Is there a drawing or a way to buy the middle wood piece to complete the cuddy berth. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I have never seen the middle wood piece or filler cushion. Not sure it exists. What size is your Outrage cuddy?

It is a 22' that I purchased in Nov and have restored for the last 3 months. I am coaxing my wife to do an overnight and that filler cushion would make a world of difference.

Buying it may be nearly impossible, but copying it from a template or drawing is certainly feasible.

I'd suggest in the short term, a simple bit of plywood may be enough to tide you over until you can find a member who can get you the correct dimensions or have them drawn to scale.

Once you put a cushion on it, you won't be able to tell the difference in the interim, and you'll be able to enjoy a few nights on the boat, as well.

Good luck.

My 1989 Outrage Cuddy did not have the extension either.

I think Andy Gere made one for his Cuddy....

Maybe if he reads this he can answer the question or post some photos.
Or, you can send him an email or a PM..... andygere

Geez Joe - I clearly need to kill a few more hours stalking around the reference article portion of this site. Thanks for that great link!
