Why do you think you need one? Safety, fuel economy, slow trolling speed?

I will probably go with the Tanner mount. Thanks

The Tanner fixed mount is made specifically for some Boston Whaler models like yours.

I prefer the fixed mount as opposed to the knuckle busting, back breaking and bouncing adjustable brackets.
I had an adjustable bracket on my Outrage 17' and couldn't stand it.

On the opposite, I prefer the adjustable bracket. That way, you can use a short shaft engine, which are way easier to find and you could also use it on other boats. When not needed, the bracket, which is held to the mount by a simple padlock, can easily be slided out and removed.

Depends on how high you want the power head.

If out in the ocean, a higher mounted power head is desirable so the motor doesn't get flooded with salt water and drown.

Also, if you are trailering the boat far, an adjustable bracket bouncing around puts extra strain on the bracket, the motor clamps, the transom, and mounting bolts. Not good in my opinion.
