Could someone give me a rough idea how much a lower drive unit replacement would cost ? I have twin 2000 Evinrude 225 HP Ram Ftch Motors with appox 325 hours on them. Some tell tale signs of metal shavings during oil change out last fall may be foreshadowing an outlay of cash in my future! I live in coastal Southern Maine.

$500-$5,000 depending on if you buy new or used, OE or aftermarket.
