My friend delivered his 1988 Outrage 20 to a dealer to have a 2013 E-Tec 150 25 inch installed. The outboard purchase package includes a stainless propeller, Viper brand. Dealer opined he will install motor three holes up and attach a Viper 3 blade 17 pitch and sea trial. Any specific suggestions regarding mounting height and prop selection for this boat?

Viper is not a brand of propeller, it is a model of propeller. The brand is BRP.

Yes, three holes up is correct. The Viper is the best of what BRP offers for that boat/motor combo.
