How many gallons of paint should you use to cover the bottom of a 17ft Boston whaler moutauk? Any suggestions??

Gallons? 1 coat, full coverage is less than a quart of paint.

Is there paint already on the bottom? Is this a touch up job or a strip down and redo? How many coats are you doing?
In any case you can get away with less than a gallon, or even a half gallon depending on the project.

If you are spraying the paint a quart will probably get you two coats. If you are rolling I am not sure a quart would cover two quarts.
