Any experiience with this product? Reviews claim rust removal stains, etc, etc....doesnt effect wax or gel coat...can even be used on canvas to remove mildew and supposedly leaves a protective coating??? Auto detailers claim use on rag tops and doesnt touch waterproofing coating...Sounds like the next best thing to sliced white bread. So who has experience with this product? Or is just another snake oil??? Thanks.

I personally havnt used it, however , I have spoken to workers in boatyards that say it works well. Also, a marine dealer close to me uses it cuz I saw the bottle hanging on their powerwashr. Good luck in your research.

Thanks for the response. Still checking out auto detailer sites that claim to have used product with great results. Would like to confirm results from other members of the boating community. It's fairly expensive ($15 for 32 oz) compared to cleaner with bleach that I have used with good results on the interior & vinyl since my first 13' whaler back in the low tech era of 1974. What drew my attention is the claim that this Roll Off product can be used to clean canvas boat cover and it leaves a protective residue on surfaces without damaging repellancy or stitches that bleach cleaner reportedly will damage. I have used this product and it does work as advertised...but if you have any bright work it will peel the varnish off better than a chemical stripper ! Make sure you read the dirctions and wet everything down before you apply it, you can even dilute it with water by about half and it still works fine.
