Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Correct pitch for Yamaha 8hp kicker

I have a 2005 Yamaha 8hp 4 stroke as the kicker on our 18' Guardian. There are a few knicks in the prop and I'm thinking about replacing it - there are three different pitches available 7", 8", and 9" - since I'm looking for power not speed I think the 9" pitch would be the one we want.

Will apreciate any suggestions,

You want the 7" pitch version.
