Need some advice on how to get out of a mess I created.

1986 Outrage 25 with super console with T-Top and leaning post.

Removed the small square access panel on the floor and the side panel on the hull to expose the 1-1/2" fuel line at the fill. Cut the fuel line off the fuel tank hose barb and tried to pull the hose out from under the deck. It appears that the hose is pinched under the deck.
The super console extends about 6 inches over the deck. I read that someone leaned a console forward and removed the deck. Is this what I have to do or is there a way to remove the old (falling apart old!) hose without taking up the deck? If I need to tilt the console and T-Top forward any advice on how to do that?

Any help would be appreciated.

Mike unfortunately if it is getting hung up you will need to pull the floor up to replace the line. This article I wrote might help you.

Jeff, while I have no illusions about eventually taking up the deck and doing repairs I just found a competent mechanic who knows salt corroded engines and have the boat running well (and would like to use it this summer).

I haven't had a chance to examine how the super console attaches to the (2) decks. The forward seam between the main deck covering the 140 gallon fuel tank and the piece of deck mainly under the super console is covered 4-6" by the console.

Is it possible to unscrew the super console, tilt it up ever so slightly, unscrew the deck screws and lift the deck up just enough to allow the fuel line to be replaced?

What about attaching a come-a-long to the old hose and winching it out from under the deck?

Any ideas?
