Old Mystic village hosted a wooden boat show this past weekend. My wife and I took the day off on friday and launched our 13 in the Mystic river. We went around the boat show from the water side and had a great view of the boats. After we got done there we took the boat out to Sandy Point in Stonington which is a bird sanctuary island. Came back and docked at the public dighy dock and had dinner at S&P. Great day and I recomend it to anyone. I have found my 13 to be very capable in LI sound and the shoreline is always an interesting place to explore. Also nice to have people compliment me on my boat in an area where it is small enought to be a tender for most of the other boats.
