Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: Oil Tank for E-Tec

I am planning on putting the external oil tank for the new E-Tec into a standard Battery Box. The new ones come with vents, do I need to close them up or will it not allow that much water to enter? I am locating this in the splashwell?

The new battery boxes come with vents?
Or the oilers?

I think any battery box will let water in through the sides where the cables go...
I just bought a battery box that didn't have vents... Can't remember the name right now...

The battery box. I decided not to worry about it that much.
