Any ideas on where a second HIN number is located on Whalers? Looks like boat been painted once too many times.

What model Whaler?
I would take a close look in the bow locker area for a stencil number or a metal tag.

When I asked BW customer service where the "hidden" 2nd HIN is located on my 2007 Montauk 170, they said it was located under the starboard side of the center console on the raised area the center console mounts to.
I needed to know because of mounting a kicker bracket to the starboard transom, and I was wondering if the HIN was visible elsewhere. My advice would be to NOT alter, deface or otherwise obliterate or cover the HIN. Law Enforcement may have a need to verify this number and not being able to see it might make them unhappy.
I made a small window in the 1 1/2 in starboard between the bracket and the transom. You can look in there and see the HIN.
