Hi, I bought a VRO pump for my 1990 90hp Johnson VRO from Smokey's in GA. I think I may have a bad pump. Problem is Smokey's is out of business so need to contact Evinrude to find out about a replacement. Thank.

I would call your local BRP (Bombardier) dealer.

We have a fairly complete listing of all the outboard manufactures links on our site under "Related Weblinks" on the left sidebar.

Here is a link from the sidebar:

BRP also has an excellent online Parts Catalog. With this catalog you can look up your own part numbers and tell the dealer exactly what you are referring to.

Thank you very much. I asked for the same help on continuouswave, but Jim replied "you have to be kidding." and deleted my thread. I'm glad I have a web site to go for help where I won't be ridiculed for not knowing something that might be considered common knowledge.

Dan,

Are you looking to get the pump replaced under warranty or just buy a new one?

Any how consider it just good timing as BRP just leased the New High Ethanol rated VRO pumps. They are $275 (same as old pumps).

If you can not find any help locally let us know.
