Well today is the day that we say good bye to our Whaler. Freeportd a member I met through this site is comming to pick her up. It will be nice to have a larger boat we can put more family and friends in, but I will miss her. Here is a short video of our good times.

Watching those whalers leave is tuff. Especially when you think of all the good times the family has had on board. So are you going to get a bigger whaler or are you looking at another line of boats for your next love?

Rick, you can be sure she'll be in good hands. It will continue to ply the waters of Casco Bay - where she's lived nearly her entire life. It's always great to find local members of a site - and I'm glad I can continue to carry the torch.

I'll be watching for a 50 HP 4 stroke to show up - particularly one in need of some work. My strength is in engines and restorations. Fiberglass - not so much!

Good luck with your next boat! freeportd

Rick - nice to see her go to another "family member". Let me know if you want to visit and you can see what a 17 Outrage looks and rides like.

Freeport - Congrats! Well done finding a great boat.

Thanks all. It was good I had a busy day ahead of me after it left. We did look for a larger Whaler but in the end found a Grady White, Tournament. We will be picking up the new boat on Monday.
