I build the outboard stand last year to John Quigley's exact specifications. (see link)
I used it for much of last season to hold my '86 Mercury 75HP outboard (approx 305 lbs) while I flipped and restored my Nauset 16 hull.

If anyone has a need for a short or long term loan (swap?) let me know.
You can decide if picking it up in West Concord, MA is easier than building it from scratch.
