Hello you guys,

I just bough myself a 1994 boston whaler rage 15 with the 115 omc engine.
In the beginning i'm gonna run this engine and in winter time i'm going to convert it in to an outboard version like sraab928 did.

Congrats! Good luck with it - hopefully it will last longer and you wont have to worry about converting it anytime soon!

I just looked at a 95' Rage for cheap-3K!. I am just wondering how these jets handle in salt water bays and rivers with a 115 Johnson in comparison to a 90hp Montauk.
Can these engines run when boat is out of water or do they constantly need water pressure? The seller did not want to run motor out of water.
I may take a look again tomorrow.
