Hello,

I would like to improve my gas mileage because of gas prices. Would it help if I add a stabilizer or totally unnesscesary? Just wondering.

No, it will not improve your fuel mileage.

Raising the motor on your transom and installing a good modern stainless steel propeller certainly will.

stabilizer is still great to use though. can save you money in the long run.
