Does anyone have a saturn compass on their 18' Whaler Outrage? I have one that is missing the light bulb and I'd like to purchase a new one. I don't know the what to order. It appears to be a small flat light that fits on the side of the trim plate.

Thanks for your help

OK! Just so you know the Saturn compass is actually made by aqua meter. I found a place that carries the bulb and cord but I have one more problem. The fluid inside the compass is mury and cannot be serviced. Looks like I will need to purchase another type. Anyone know of a good flush mount compass with hood?

thanks,

You Bet! i THINK i WILL PURCHASE THE SS-1002. It's nearly the same dimensions as the the other on that was originally mounted on the console and I love the blue dial.

Thank you!

Well, I finally transported the whaler to it's final destination. I was just about to purchase the new ss 1002 from west marine when I decided to sit the old compass on the console to see if the speakers I mounted on the side panels interfered with the compass. Unfortunately, they did. The compass was off 10 degrees. Someone suggested I have a compass specialist reconfigure the compass.

What are your thougths?

Thanks,
