A couple of quesitons...

1- I am afixing my teleflex steering to a new console and need to ask people's opinions.

The console is an OEM whaler console... Katama. I am adding my own Teleflex steering and wanted to know what angle bezel to purchase... and think I figured it out looking at the picture I found. 20', not 90'

2- How far forward do I mount this console? My basic preference? I want it to ride nice.. not too stern heavy

3- Also, where might I find a windshield for this console?? or instrucitons how to make one?

Sample pic below, not my boat.

Thanks!

Ipswich,

I am not sure about the angle of your bezel. Maybe someone else with a Katama can help.

Mills Canvas sells the canvas windshields for the Katama in different colors. I believe the original was tan canvas but not positive. We have the installation instruction sheet listed on this site in the downloads section. Scroll down to the Katama Windshield Instructions:
