I LOVE the Keys...was stationed there from '85-'92 with the Navy. I've owned about four boats while down there and had a blast. Are you renting a house on Summerland? There are several homes on canals with ocean access all through Summerland. Also a small airstrip and a very small firehouse right near the blinking yellow like on A1A.
Have fun and take LOTS of pictures bro!

CES, We're renting a home on a canal in the same s/d as the airstrip. Got the cameras ready to roll.

Stop by Robbies on the bay side MM77, ( High tide is best) and hand feed the giant tarpon. You will not be disappointed take your camera, I even think they have a live camera.

I think Robbie is in jail for tax evasion.

Surfncow: did not know this, Is Robbies closed down? Is someone running it, I do not think they can kick out all of the boats that are paying dockage?

Wife and kids fed the tarpon two weeks ago. I did last minute boat maintenance in the parking alley since I thought he had a bad attitude the other time we stopped in.
Apparently the guy behind the counter was very friendly and didn't even charge beyond the price of a bucket of fish. So they are open and maybe someone else is running it. :)
