Does anyone know which Awlgrip colors are the closest match to orginal Whaler gel coat colors. This is for 68 boat.

I have heard that Spectrum (I think that the correct spelling) paint company makes a color that is closer to the match than Awlgrip. Boudy if you are going to do some painting (the entire boat) I would get the color as close as you can, and just paint the entire boat. I would rather have the paint off a little in color than trying to spot/match/ color the boat, even if you get it correct the difference in age of paint will show up after a while....good luck

Thanks, We are going to paint the entire boat. Spectrum makes Gel coats which after much debate decided on paint. Now are trying to get back to the same color or close

I painted my 11ft ss with interlux perfection oyster white. It was very close and came out great. Easy to use also.

Awlgrip makes a color called Cream. It matched my 1976 hull almost perfectly. But, that was a faded 1976 Hull. You can go to the awgrip website and buy some touchup paint kits and see witch color you like the best.

You can also email the regional reps and they will send you a color card. I personally am going with Aquamist for my hull and matterhorn white for the topside.
