I am looking to pick up a decent surfaced Perko square Bow Bitt.
My own unit has had better days and will need a complete re chroming.
For a 1975 Outrage 19.
If you have such a part sitting around Let me know.

Joe,
The bow "towing" square cleat is an original part.
Chrome is pretty well gone.
Looks exactly like the photo that you sent.

I don't know what was original on your model.
Perko or Wilcox..........?

Yes, I understand that is what might be on there now but is it original to the boat?
If Perko was original, then what size is it?
You can find out that info on the Perko link I gave you above if you click on ordering info...

Are you looking for a pristine piece? I have one that came off my project outrage will not be going on the custom low pro that is to be the finished product. It is not perfect but it is in fair shape I can send some pics if you pm me info to send a pic.

Yes it is an original equipment post.
I have looked at the link.
Thank You Joe.

I could send it away to be re chromed
I am exploring avenues.
I am not necessarily looking for a perfect piece
and would welcome all your suggestions.

The closest Perko Bow Bitt is their Fig. # 608 002 CHR which has a base that measures 4-1/4" x 4-1/4".
It would be less expensive to just have it re-chromed. It will also come out better too. You will almost always do better to re-chrome original Whaler hardware instead of trying to replace it. There have just been too many subtle changes to parts over the years.

I don't know if this is standard throughout the Perko line of hardware but I do know that almost every piece I have removed from my boat has the name Perko and usually the number molded into the bottom. It would seem to me, a novice, a part this large made by Perko would have the name and number on it.

Looks like I will have to sent it away and get it rechromed.
Thanks to all of your good answers.
