Me again:
I have a 1971 13 foot Sport Whaler (please see my Personal page for pics) and it has the wrap around stainless steel railing kit like the sourpuss that goes all around the back of the seat backs. One side of mine is damaged and I cannot find a replacement railing kit like the wraparound. I have tried the vendors on this site but they all have either the two unattached side railings OR the railing kits that wrap around the BOW of the boat but not wrap around the back of the seats.
Anyone out there know of either a company that sells the sourpuss rail kits OR will fabricate thye parts I need to fix mine?
Thanks for your help.
Regards, Sal 1971 13 foot Sport Whaler

Try Fred at the contact below. He distributes many original whaler parts and is fully capable of custom producing anything metal/railing you might need. His quality of work is second to none. If he cannot help you he will know exactly where you need to go.
I have dealt with him on many occasions and have referred many other whaler owners to him, none have been disappointed.
Good luck

duf,
I believe CMI sells the railing kit for the Bow Pulpit.
This kit fits the rails that have fittings and not for the bow rail that is welded one piece.
Talk to Fred.....

Fred sells both pre made rails and custom rails as well as towers, rocket launchers, rod holders, leaning posts, etc.
His custom work is generally considered the best in new england and I believe when you contact BW they will steer you towards him also for any older rails that they no longer stock or manufacture.
