I have a new (to me) 1997 Dauntless 17 with a 2007 Evinrude E-Tec 115 that HAD a 15" X 15" pitch prop that I destroyed this weekend in a shallow river.
Because the river is shallow and winding I did not have the chance to find out what her WOT is with the current propeller.
I would be looking to get on plane faster and would be willing to give up some top end.
Please send me your thoughts. Please specify diameter and pitch.
Thanks in advance

Before you destroyed the 15" x 15" propeller you were trying to test by driving it aground in a shallow river, did you have the chance to test the WOT top speed with the previous propeller?
If so, how fast did the boat go and at what RPM was that speed achieved?
What is the gear ratio of your 2007 Evinrude E-TEC 115?
What shaft length of your 2007 Evinrude E-TEC 115?
How high is your 2007 Evinrude E-TEC 115 mounted on the transom of your 1997 Dauntless 17?
