I have enjoyed your posting from the lighter side of boating.
God knows how much we do need to thread on the lighter side of things these days.
I have also appreciated of your nice bow cushion.

I like the 2nd pic. Great shot! I know as hot as it is out, the wind/spray must've felt good to her!

Laughed out loud at the pics. I love the ear-foils... Bet they really help get you up on plane quickly...

Bruce:
Sometimes Molly stands right in the middle, and both ears are straight out to the sides. That was the picture I was trying to get, but it was hard to capture.
kikibee:
Great looking Montauk on your personal page. My uncle used to work in Lorton at the uh, facility there.

Phil,
Molly is one beauful Boykin, and not a bad looking Whaler either.. Looks like you take great care of both.
Don.

Great pics! I have to wonder what goes through a dogs head. My Brittany rides up front in my truck and has to be nose to the windshield or head out the window. When she rides in my 2 seat ATV she has to be head through the half windshield and would probably prefer to ride on the front bumper. When I finally get the Montauk seaworthy I am already contemplating netting the bow rails because she will be right where your pics show and could easily fall in while biting at the water. Dogs tend to take "Leading the way" to the extreme.

Molly has ended up in the drink before. Right about the same time, a dolphin surfaced and a seagull flew by closely. I killed the engine, reached over and grabbed her collar and pulled her in.
No matter what a dog is doing, it's their favorite thing. =8-)

That is exactly why I think the net up front will be a good idea. My Brit is a good rider until a bird or other distraction comes along. Riding in the RZR ATV is her absolute favorite and I can't leave the shed door open because she will spend hours sitting in her seat just in case it is going to move. She has never been in the boat yet but I am sure she will have a front row seat there as well.

That's pretty funny. We can't leave any of the vehicle doors open, cause Molly will just jump in and sit on the seat. She'd sit there for hours.

LOL! If the dogs could talk they would be saying "I have dibbs on the front seat", lets go for a ride. Mine has the invisible fence around 3 acres and never crosses it. When ever she comes up missing in action I have to go to the vehicles and shed to locate where she got locked in.
