Hi, the regulator of my Johnson V4 60 115hp 1998 seems to be dead (hazardeous Tach and 12.7 V max on multimeter). I found some documentation on the internet and OMC recommends to not use maintenance-free battery. Is there a link between the battery kind and a burned regulator ?

Do you know what kind of battery should i use ?
