I have a 190 Outrage that I just put in the water for the first time today. When I loaded it back on the trailer the bow eye hits the bow roller directly in the center. When I brought the boat home the bow eye was above the roller. However the previous owner "power loaded". The trailer is a Karavan that is sold by BW with the boat as it has the BW logo.
i think the winch post needs to be raised about one inch, so that the eye is under the roller.
Any one else have this problem or any ideas?

When loading your boat back on the trailer, from what I can tell you may want to back your trailer into the water a little more.
With a new boat, it mat take a few time to load and unload it from the trailer until you get it right.

The bow eye should be below the roller so that if you stop suddenly or are hit from behind and the boat jumps forward, the bow eye "catches" on the roller as it moves forward on the trailer and prevents the boat from causing further damage and possible injury to passengers in the behicle.
It's an easy adjustment, assuming you have the boat properly seated on the trailer. Most bow roller stands can be adjusted forward/back so that they meet the boat bow at the proper place.

I agree with the above post the proper placement is for the eye to be under the roller. This means the strap should be under the roller as well. If the previous owner had the eye above the roller I am betting the strap is above the roller. look over the winch, strap and bow eye. It should be a simple adjustment to get the proper alignment.

Thanks for the quick response. The strap was above the roller. In fact when I tried to winch it all the way in the roller was catching the hook on the strap. It should be an easy fix. Finnegan's pictures really clarify it for me. I thought I was on the right track but didn't want to do something dumb. BTW nice boat.
