Where can I get a set of motor decals for a 1991 MERC 2 STROKE 40 HP MOTOR WITHOUT TAKING OUT A LOAN FOR THEM?

Good question and one I had a few years back for my 1993 yamaha. I ended up using 2004 Yamaha decals on my cowling as they were 1/4 the price of the vintage specific decals.

I ended up going over to www.iboats.com and purchased them over there. Also you might want to check out www.boats.net too.

Hope this helps.

If you want the factory look you have to pay for it. Up to 150 for a set.

I just redid my decals on my 1995 Johnson and went for a more custom look. I bought decals on ebay for a total of $35.

I primed, painted and cleared over them and the motor looks nice.

Cheapest set I found was 70 bucks on e bay and they were for a newer motor, guess I will just shine it up as best I can and live with it for a while

This is where you want to get factory original decals for Mercs & Johnsons. He is working on getting the Evinrude decals finished also. I have bought from him, and the decals are beautiful. A set for your 1991 40hp Merc costs $150, but the engine will look like new.
