Took my 16 foot Tashmoo out today for the first time, handled great. Question is about using the primer system on the motor ? This motor doesnt have the normal choke plates, it has a primer system that squirts fuel into each carb when you depress the key. When starting I depress the key and after the motor starts I still need to press it itermittently to keep it running for 30-60 seconds. Is this normal and or the correct way?

Yes, that is perfectly normal. Administer addition priming only as needed to keep it going until it is warm enough to run on its own.

Agree, my Johnson 150 requires intermittent priming for the first 30 seconds, then runs perfectly without it after it warms up.

Yup, starting is a mix of throttle and what I call "bumping" the primer.
