Not much experience with marine repair cost. I live in Boston what should I expect to pay an hour for repairs to outboard? Any feedback will be helpfull. Thanks.

$90-120 for a factory certified mechanic.
Unless you have several solid recommendations for an independent mechanic, an authorized dealer is the way to go.
Get a diagnosis and detailed estimate in writing before approving work.

Good Luck with the dealers!
Around these parts the $100/Hr. at the dealer is about right but 10 minutes equals an hour of labor charges!
I have learned to dread the day that I have to find a dealer to do the repairs. If you have no other option and can't do most of the work yourself then ask around to find a shop or at the very least to find a dealer who won't hose you down in the process.
