I have a model 85ESL69E Johnson 85 HP that was a freebe. Compression is 120 psi per cylinder. Problem is the harness to the remote was cut and the key SW panel is trashed electricly. Does anyone know where I can find the sechmatics for this engine?

I am not sure about the older models but take a look at this article.
Scroll down to "Wiring Harness"

Look at the colors of the wires as they should be fairly standard for OMC.

Mine has 10 wires and black connector. It's the hydro-electric drive model.

Still no spark in the old stuff, considering the MSD canversion. Used MSD5 on ebay for $20 rather than the fragil OMC aftermarket parts for $475.
