I am in the process of making the rear seat for an early nauset. Does anyone have a template of the boomerang for the rear seat of a nauset? I notice that the drawing on this site of this item is not dimensioned. Thanks

The Nauset did not have a rear Stern Seat but was an option.
The Stern Seat option was from the Eastport model.
So, the Eastport Stern seat does have dimensions on it in the download section.
Let us know if you are having any difficulties reading the drawing below.

Joe,
I was able to download and view the entire file, however, the sheet which depicts the "boomerang" does not provide any dimensions or the angle between the seat surface and the back. Thanks

Thanks for the info.
That is a genuine Boston Whaler drawing so I am not sure why those dimensions are not there.
Maybe someone else has some ideas or information.
If I can find anything else I will post it here.

You will have to extrapolate the measurements for that part, unless one of the folks on the site who has one can measure for you. On page one of the drawing you can see the graphic about placing the seat slats and the back on the boomarang. I would make some test runs, but I think you will find the back leg is about either 12.5 or 13.5 inches long and the seat support is about 11 to 12 inches depending on how much you hang the front board over.
