Okay, got a few things here. Below is a picture of last nights Lunar Eclipse taken by my buddy Don and his new Nikon camera. I thought it was pretty cool and wanted to share it with y'all. You can clearly see the earths shadow on the moons surface. This picture was taken in the Dallas Texas area.
Also, as today December 21, 2010 is also the first day of winter, the winter solstice and the shortest day (length of daylight) of the year, we can start our countdown to springtime as each day from now until the summer solstice on June 21, 2011 gets longer and longer.
It won't be long until we're back in the water again so get those projects done so no one is hitching rides to the lake because their Whaler is still in the shop!! Get 'er done!!

Thanks for the pic Cliff, beautiful shot! I started watching it last night and the clouds moved in right when the shadow started, missed the whole thing.
And I second your thoughts on Spring, can't come soon enough for me.

Hi. was up at 0230 till 0305 watching and was a sight to see here in FL. Thanks for the posting of the picture so all could see.Been on the chilly side here in FL too and waiting for warm weather as well.
