I have a small mercury outboard, the serial# is A170510. I have tried to search for the year and model but have not been able to find any info. Can anyone help out?

FYI, anyone in need of assistance with a Mercury serial number can call (920)929-5040. Mercury serial numbers are difficult to decipher and the Mercury customer helpline was more than happy to help.
