Hi all!
My name is Nick and I live in Kemah, Tx. I just picked up a 15 Whaler last week and just started the restoration process today. Should be a fun project for the winter. The hull is in good condition with the exception of a good sized hole in the bottom. I spent all morning re fiberglassing the hole and a few other spots. I will have bottom paint on her by next week and take her out for some fun befor I tear out the rest of the interior. Ill keep posting pics in my personal page as I go along.

Welcome to WhalerCentral.
There are basically 2 ways to share photos here.
1. Put one link to your entire photobucket album here so people can click on that one link and view your images.
2. Create a personal page and upload your photos to WhalerCentral.
The personal page section requires a member to upload their photos directly to WhalerCentral. Absolutely no outside photos to photobucket etc.
See this FAQ on personal pages.

I had to remove all of your inline photo links to photobucket.
I did upload one photo for you to get you started.

Either way is entirely up to you.
1. Some people already have many photos on photobucket or some other outside source and it is easy for them to share their albums here by adding just one link to their entire album.
Here is one example of one of my links on an outside source.
http://users.sisqtel.net/jkriz/whaler...alers.html
You can also add the link to your album in the "Members Personal Websites" section which is under your profile.
Click on "Edit Profile" under your information in the right sidebar and add your photobucket photo album link.
Doing this, then a link will automatically be added under all of your forum posts via the "Web" button.
People can then click the Web button and be taken directly to your photo album.
2. For those that don't have photobucket or another outside source, we make it easy for them to create their own personal page here on WhalerCentral.
Once a personal page is created, a link to their personal page is automatically created under their name in the forum section and in their profile. This makes it easy for other members to click on a members personal page link and view those photos here.
You can see the link to your personal page under your name to the left of your posts.
So, either way is fine because many people don't want or need to create a personal page here because they already have tons of photos on other outside sources.
If that is the case, then they certainly don't need to create a personal page here.
Hope this helps.

Nick,
Just found the site as well and am going to begin working on my 1978 15' as soon as the weather gets better up here. What kind of hole did you have to patch? I have to do some fiberglassing as well and would love to see some pics on how you attacked it.

Hello,
I am not only new to the site, I am a new boat owner, and a first time Whaler owner.
I can't express how cool it is to learn about Whalers and the support available through this web site.
I bought a 1987 Outage 18 with a 150 Merc and 8 Honda. It needs some work but first I need to get it on the water.
I reside in Tacoma, WA, any one else in the PacNW?
